Turning Victoria's rooftop solar into tradable energy credits

This is a live demonstration of the Aeredium Energy Exchange. Victorian households with rooftop solar export their excess energy to the grid; this platform verifies those exports from meter data every half hour and issues them as digital energy credits on the Aeredium blockchain — credits the household genuinely owns. Instead of accepting a fixed feed-in tariff of a few cents, Victorians can sell their credits at the true market price of each half hour — to retailers, factories, or battery operators — swap them with other participants, or use them against their own bills. The prices on this page are the real Victorian wholesale electricity prices, live from AEMO. Peer-to-peer energy trading has been trialled before, in Australia and abroad — what has not existed until now is an exchange built on an institutional Layer-1 blockchain, where the metering oracle runs in hardware-attested enclaves, every credit is bound to a one-time meter attestation, and retirement is permanent and auditable on-chain. That is what Aeredium is building — beginning in Victoria, then every state.

A note on what you are seeing: this is a sandbox. Everything on this page is running live — real prices, a real contract, real transactions — but the service is not yet deployed to the public, and the households shown are simulated while metering partnerships are finalised. We expect the exchange to go live in the coming months, when Aeredium reaches mainnet. Visit this page from time to time for the latest news, or aeredium.io.
